Arriving Nov. 16, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is directed by David Yates, with J.K. Rowling, David Heyman, Steve Kloves and Lionel Wigram serving as producers. I'm honestly excited, it looks great.

The new trailer shows a wealth of dazzling new creatures along with a better look at Johnny Depp as the nefarious Grindelwald - who looks set to deliver a memorable villain the first outing was missing. "Magic blooms only in rare souls". It is granted to those who live for higher purposes.

In it we get a glimpse of Newt as a boy, some more spectacular beasts and in it we're introduced to the alchemist who made the Philosopher's Stone (or Sorceror's Stone in you're in the US), Nicholas Flamel. The lights then turned on and off, and Depp had disappeared.

On Saturday, Heard appeared on stage shortly after Depp while taking part in a panel for an upcoming movie of her own, Aquaman. What a world we would make for all of humanity. He said the wizarding world and the human world will be pitched against each other, but wizards will fight wizards as well-and that Fantastic Beasts 2 will go to darker places than we've seen in the Harry Potter universe before.
