Manchester United have not signed an attacker this summer so far but could change as the Independent reveals that the club are interested in signing Robert Lewandowski and Thiago Alcantara from Bayern Munich.

Alongside Lewandowski is Thiago, who was almost signed by United in 2013, before a last-minute change of mind.

Concise News gathered that United gaffer Jose Mourinho wants the talented players at the Old Trafford to propel his quest to win the Premier League.

Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski is calm over a fresh talk of a move to England this summer.

The report says the Bundesliga champions are open to the idea of cashing in on the 29-year-old if around £89m is put on the table and United certainly have the financial muscle to meet that asking price.

Thiago can change the look of our midfield and with Fred and Paul Pogba in the side, we might have one of the best midfields in European football.

The Spanish giants are considering to make a first offer in the 35m to 40m range, which will unlikely satisfy Bayern enough to sell the Spanish global.

Thiago is all for a move home and Bayern are reportedly willing to let him go provided they are recompensated fairly.
