At least it was for one Riverside gun store owner who identified a disguised man who came into his story as actually being actor Sacha Baron Cohen.

Fox 11 quotes Sweidan saying, "He comes in, off the bat you can see in the video I'm looking like, this guy does not look like a Hungarian immigrant, tight ass leather trousers, a beard, it just didn't fit".

Sweidan claims Cohen walked in and asked to buy a gun.

'I'm looking at the producer and I'm just like am I being fooled right here?' Sweidan said. Sweidan said to him, "You're Borat", after talking with him for a moment.

Showtime is speaking up against the accusations that Sacha Baron Cohen posed as a disabled veteran in his new series, Who is America? .

A number of politicians and political activists have been duped into participating in humiliating interviews as part of Cohen's series under what they say were false pretenses.

He said that Cohen was coming in to make him and gun owners look bad.

In Sweidan's mind, there's no doubt what the guy was gunning to do. Gun owners? The gun business, gun shops, ' Sweidan said.

"Once I knew it was Borat, we already know his game and his bulls**t, so we knew he was here to make a mockery".

The network said Monday in a statement that Baron Cohen "did not present himself as a disabled veteran" or wear any military apparel when he met with Sen.

Last week, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin said she was tricked by Cohen, whom she says was heavily disguised as a wounded veteran, into an interview.

He added to KTTV that he believes Cohen targeted his store because it's well known and putting together its own program, "Down the Barrel".

"You've got some gun advocate holding a bunny on a gun", Sweidan said.

"You've got some gun advocate holding a bunny on some gun?"

There was no immediate confirmation of the incident from either Showtime or Cohen.

"He was fake, the producers were fake, the show was fake, and Showtime is fake to be honest with you", Sweidan concluded. "They want a real story?"

According to Fox News, 'Who is America?' debuted to just 315,000 viewers among the key demographic age of 18-49; a total catastrophe for Showtime who have been embroiled in controversy regarding Cohen's content.
