The movie itself arrives in the United Kingdom on 14 December.

Featuring star Jason Momoa and a lot of finned friends, it's a moody new look at the world that director James Wan has conjured up for the watery hero's stand-alone adventure.

Directed by James Wan and written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick and Will Beall, the story is based on Aquaman comics created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger. He's joined in the movie by Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Dolph Lundgren, Patrick Wilson, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Nicole Kidman. And Wan, of course, is directing. A photoshopped version of the official Aquaman movie poster made its way onto Reddit, with Entourage star Adrian Grenier's face superimposed over Jason Momoa.

Aquaman will hit theaters in the United States on December 21, 2018. We'll have the trailer later in the week.
