Bollywood actress Rita Bhaduri dies at the age of 62

Hindi film and television actress Rita Bhaduri died on Tuesday morning due to kidney-related ailments. She was last seen as Imarti Devi in Star Bharat's TV show Nimki Mukhiya. The actress was in the hospital for the last 10 days. She is most known for films like Sawan Ko Aane Do a 1979 Rajshri Productions film and Raja (1995) for which she received a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

She was now a part of the TV serial 'Nimki Mukhiya'.

"The last time she shot for the show was nearly 15 days back". Today is her funeral. "All I can say is may her soul rest in peace", Zarina signed off. Rita Bhaduri has films like "Julie", "Ghar Ho Toh Aisa", "Beta", Kabhi Haa Kabhi Naa", "Raja", "Hero No.1", "Kya Kehna' to her credit. An FTII graduate, the actor had also become a force to reckon with in the Gujarati film industry. She has acted in several popular TV serials like Kumkum, Khichdi, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Choti Bahu.

"We deeply regret to inform you that Rita Bhaduri has departed for her journey beyond... Will miss u Ma", he wrote.

CINTAA Member Amit Behl had confirmed the news to the daily and that the body were extending full support to her. More than a co-actor, she was a great human being.

In an interview to The Times of India in 2011, Bhaduri had said that she still felt she had a lot to learn.

Actor Garima Singh, who played her daughter-in-law in the show, said: "We used to share the same room". We use to be like a family on the sets. "She was a very positive person".
