An Amazon Prime member is more likely to buy from Amazon than from rival e-commerce portals like Flipkart. The sale will also bring-in additional discount on exchange under exchange offer which will be listed for products such as Moto G6, OnePlus 6, Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Vivo V7+, and the Vivo V9.

Amazon is offering discounts on its exclusive products like Amazon Echo, Fire Stick and Kindle services, apart from expected discounts on electronics, smartphones and clothes of around 50 percent.

Flipkart's Big Shopping Days will see discounts and offers on over 1,500 smartphones and feature phones. Flipkart is also offering minimum Rs 500 off on exchanging old phones, including those supporting 2G and 3G networks. This further brings down the net cost of ownership of the Google Pixel 2 (128GB) for 8 months to Rs 5,999. And we also have the Galaxy On Max which is available for Rs 12,990 (MRP Rs.16,900). The Honor 10 (6GB/128GB) will also be available for only Rs 29,999 instead of 35,999 during the Big Shopping Days.

With Amazon Prime Day on Monday, Target has launched a one-day sale event - touting "no membership necessary" - for Tuesday. Also, the 32GB and 64GB variants of Honor 7C smartphone will be priced at Rs. 9499 and Rs. 11,499 respectively, a discount of Rs. 3,500 on both. Only Amazon Prime customers are eligible for the special discounts. However, there will be a few terms and conditions to care of.

Unlike the one-day sale for subscribers of Amazon Prime, which carries a yearly membership fee, Target says its promotion is for "everybody", and will be held online and in stores.

Customers spending $100 on Target.com will get a free six-month membership for a same-day delivery service. Moreover, they can also avail of 10% instant discount on using HDFC credit or debit cards as well as win cashbacks with Amazon Pay.
