Adam Burniston's Forecast | Storms and cooler air returning to the Commonwealth

July 16, 2018

Showers and thunderstorms are likely Tuesday with some of the storms producing heavy rain.

Low temperatures early Saturday will be a mix of 60s and low 70s and rain chances will begin to dry up early in the day. The cloud cover and the rain will prevent highs from rising back into the 90s this afternoon. The humidity will make it quite uncomfortable, but heat indices will come in under 100 for most of the state. A cold front is moving into Northeast Ohio later today, bringing the chance of scattered storms for most of Northeast Ohio. Monday will still be a bit warm and humid however, with highs in the mid-80s. As we head through this evening, we'll see the increased risk for "isolated" showers and thunderstorms developing, though much of the area looks to remain dry. Wind: S 5-10. Low: 71.

Tomorrow: An early A.M. shower, then becoming partly cloudy. Breezy and turning more comfy by the hour!

Sun: High: 96 Decreasing clouds; little hotter.

Monday will start out partly cloudy with a chance for storms after 2 p.m.as the temperatures climbs to a high of around 88 degrees.

Thursday will be sunny with a high around 85.
