The White Ferns have been trounced by 123 runs by England in the second one day cricket worldwide in Derby.

New Zealand suffered a 123-run loss in their second one-day global in Derby on Tuesday (Wednesday NZT), falling well short of the 242 target set by England thanks to half centuries from Tammy Beaumont (67 from 76) and Natalie Sciver (54 from 58).

Opening bowlers Katie George picked up three wickets to raze through New Zealand's batting line-up in a chase that never got going.

England won the first game by 142 runs.

Tammy Beaumont (67) and Natalie Sciver's 54 led the way as England posted the target after being bowled out in 48 overs.

Sophie Devine, Leigh Kasperek and Jess Watkin all took two wickets each.

The third and final ODI takes place at Leicester on Friday, with the Royal London series now in the bag but England on the hunt for two more ICC Women's Championship points.
