Sarah Palin Tricked Into Interview by ''Truly Sick'' Sacha Baron Cohen

Sarah Palin has hit out at Sacha Baron Cohen, accusing him of duping her into an interview by posing as a wounded veteran in a wheelchair.

Palin says she and one of her daughters were met by a man she assumes was Baron Cohen, who was heavily disguised as a bogus US military veteran and in a wheelchair.

"Yup - we were duped".

"Side note to my story - I totally get @SachaBaronCohen's gig".

Palin railed against Cohen and his "wealthy corporate enablers" at CBS's Showtime on Facebook, saying his humor was "evil, exploitive, sick", and that his disrespect for the military was "perverse". Though she calls the interview tactics "truly sick", she challenges CBS and Showtime to donate all the proceeds from the episode to a charitable group honoring vets.

On Monday it was revealed that Baron Cohen had spent a year undercover filming a new project for the Showtime channel.

The conservative talk-show host who used to represent Illinois' 8th District is calling for a boycott of the premium cabler behind Who Is America? after Baron Cohen's team convinced him to do an interview for a fake pro-Israel event.

It's certainly not my place to tell you whether or not this is extremely amusing, but in my capacity as the News Editor of this site, it is my place to remind you that Who Is America? will air this Sunday evening at 9PM CST on Showtime. "Feel better now?" the former governor of Alaska and Republican vice presidential candidate wrote Tuesday.

Like many politicians and erstwhile politicians these days, Palin vented her rage on the social media platform for those whose thoughts can't be contained in 280 characters or less - Facebook. She claimed Cohen posed as a disabled USA veteran.

The politician stamped her statement with a scathing sentence: "By the way, my daughter thinks you're a piece of ****, Sacha". Instead, she was interviewed by Cohen in disguise as a wheelchair-bound disabled veteran, where she says she encountered only "disrespect and sarcasm".

Can't wait for this new show!

Palin's not the only one on the Baron Cohen chopping block - he teased a video on Twitter of former Vice President Dick Cheney autographing what he calls a "waterboard kit".
