Targalski carried on with the interview without skipping a beat and even held Lisio's tail after it covered his eyes.

It's a universally acknowledged truth that cats have no regard for personal space.

Polish historian & political scientist Jerzy Targalski was taking part in a very serious interview on political tension in his home country with Dutch television channel Nieuwsuur when his cat chose to take some of the limelight.

Perhaps it's the way the pet just climbs onto his shoulders like it's NBD.

The footage was shared by journalist Rudy Bouma who like others was impressed by how unruffled the political scientist was.

Targlaski's interview was pre-taped, so the whole feline fiasco was not actually seen on TV.

Targalski pushed forward, continuing to discuss the implications of the membership purge on rule of law, completely uninterrupted except to brush the cat's tail from away from his face. And honestly, Lisio also deserves a treat for being a very good boy.
