Interestingly as Antonio Conte is set to be paid off for his two year service to the club, owner Roman Abramovich will soon be working with his fifth Italian manager since taking over the club back in 2003.

The same article states that the former Napoli boss will have to convince Chelsea FC to part with a transfer fee in the region of £88m to sign the Senegal worldwide.

De Laurentiis claimed that Chelsea have not yet made an attempt to sign Sarri.

And it turns out he's prepared to take some pretty extreme measures upon his arrival.

Peculiarly, it has been reported that Sarri will live at Chelsea's Cobham training ground upon completion of his move, as the former Empoli manager seeks to rebuild his squad ahead of the return of players on July 9.

The former Napoli coach is expected in London in the next 24 hours to sign a two-year deal with the option for a third. According to the report, there is actually a house inside the base, so Sarri at least won't be sleeping in his office.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are yet to buy or sell any player this summer as the Blues will kick off their 2018/19 Premier League campaign against Huddersfield Town.

The Juventus defender will be Sarri's first major signing and could spark a flood of new faces at Stamford Bridge.

His biggest task will be trying to keep Eden Hazard away from Real Madrid.
