Liverpool have revealed their new third kit for the 2018/19 season in a groundbreaking way which has been described by the club as a world first.

New Balance and LFC have collaborated with club partner Konami to reveal the kit via footage of the LFC players wearing the new kit in Pro Evo 19.

The new third kit is all grey, and the shirt has what the club refer to as "steel gradients", but it bears a striking resemblance from the kits used in 1989-90, the last time that Liverpool became the champions of England.

Like that 20-year-old kit, the new one features the classic white and grey template, with dark grey sleeves and a red Liverpool crest and sponsor logos.

As ever, a 96 emblem is on the neck of the shirt to commemorate the tragic events of the Hillsborough disaster.

Liverpool winger Sadio Mané, said, "We had a strong campaign in 2017/18, and we already can't wait for the new season to begin".

This third kit completes a standout collection of NB performance kits for LFC.

An additional cushioned heel zone and vented cushioned footbed and toe section have been created to help players play with power, comfort and extra support. We're sure this will be a strip that the players and fans will wear with pride.

The full range of New Balance LFC third kit products will be available at and in New Balance stores worldwide from July 13, 2018. The new fonts have been created to embody iconic characteristics of Anfield and the surrounding area.

Fans who purchase the kit before the 1st August will qualify for a £10 voucher.

LFC Season Ticket Holders and Members also receive 10% discount when purchasing the kit in-store and online.
