IDF Patriot missile shoots down Syrian drone over Sea of Galilee

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated that warning during a visit to Moscow for talks with Vladimir Putin.

The army is ordering all boats to clear out of the Sea of Galilee so forces can collect fragments of a drone that entered Israeli airspace from Syria.

Israel tracked the drone, until it decided it was time to blow it up.

"The UAV infiltrated the Israeli border from Syria", Israeli Defense Force (IDF) said in a statement.

Supposedly Israel waited 15 minutes before shooting it down, so they could check with the Russians, and make sure it wasn't theirs before shooting it down. "I am not sure that they are counting on the right man. Israel's real card in Syria may be Assad".

The IDF decried the infiltration as a violation of Israeli sovereignty. It is for Trump to accept Russia's occupation of the Crimean peninsula and East Ukraine and lift the sanctions imposed on it while allowing Putin to control Syria, and in exchange Putin expels the Iranians and their followers from Syria thus granting Netanyahu a historic victory. He added that the latter scenario was "not common".

"We won't take action against the Assad regime, and you get the Iranians out", the official, who requested anonymity, quoted Netanyahu as telling Putin during a meeting in Moscow.

An Israeli Patriot missile intercepted a drone launched from Syria on Wednesday, setting off sirens in the occupied Golan Heights, the Israeli army said.

Russian Federation is allied with Iran and has been the military backbone behind Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad's slow-burning recapture of territory controlled by rebel forces during the country's seven-year-long civil war.

On Sunday, Syria accused Israel of attacking an air force base near Homs that was known to be housing Iranian forces.

"We chose to bring with us two wonderful children who are bravely fighting cancer: Mika, whom my wife and I have known for nine years, and Alon, whose parents emigrated from Russian Federation and who likes soccer very much".

"There should be no military forces in the area of separation other than those of UNDOF", a United Nations spokesman said. The IDF has not yet said exactly who flew either drone.

"Any Syrian soldier found in the buffer zone is endangering his life, " Lieberman said while touring the Israeli-controlled Golan Heights.
