Dozens of English soccer fans began heading for Moscow in a last-minute rush on Tuesday in an effort to be part of a potentially historic sporting moment as England take on Croatia in the World Cup semi-finals. Goals by Robert Prosinećki in the 13th minute and Davor Šuker in the 35th minute wrote history for Croatian football.

France will now be joined by one of Croatia or England in the final, and Vertonghen would love to see Harry Kane face off against fellow clubmate Hugo Lloris - potentially the first time that one club has provided both captains in the final - to emphasise the quality in Tottenham's ranks.

There, France would wait for Croatia again, just like they did in Saint-Denis on July 8, 1998.

A second-half header from Samuel Umtiti gave them a 1-0 win against Belgium. I feel very proud for my group.

"We want people to celebrate.but not at the expense of law-abiding fans and emergency services' resources", he said. We'll see if it can get even better this afternoon.

"For me, Kevin De Bruyne is the modern playmaker", he said.

Following incidents of violent behaviour after England's last World Cup game a Hornchurch pub is calling on their customers to reflect the players' efforts on the pitch by enjoying themselves responsibly.

"In honour of our England getting to the semi-final, we've chose to decorate one of our buses to show our support". But England has not been in the final since 1966, when it won its only World Cup title. "We will go into this final to win it, as we have still not gotten over the final".

"We will do everything it takes to ensure we are on the right side this time, and not repeat what happened two years ago".

France lost the Euro 2016 final to Portugal.

"A lot of pride", said the defender.

"And we have to be like that, I think, if we are going to get in the final, so we'll have to perform well and play well."

"I've got a amusing feeling that the momentum is so good, and, you know, especially now that we're all going to turn up with special Gareth waistcoats, and that can only help can't it", said fan Lee Walkup, 50.
