Chelsea star Eden Hazard has admitted Real Madrid remain a "dream" club, even without the presence of former manager Zinedine Zidane, amid persistent rumours linking the Belgium global with Los Blancos.

Now Belgium are out, Real may intensify their efforts to land Hazard.

The same report says that Hazard is being lined up as a marquee signing by the Spanish side as they are ready to lose Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus.

The transfer fee was not disclosed but Spanish media said Ronaldo had signed a four-year deal and had cost Juventus 105 million euros ($123.24 million).

Be it Mbappe, Neymar, Kane or another standout star from football's showpiece event, Real Madrid need an answer - otherwise their three-year reign on the UEFA Champions League could be next to leave.

"It has been an exciting time for me, full of respect but also hard because Real Madrid have high expectations, but I know very well that I will never forget that I have enjoyed football here in a unique way".

'For now, it's the World Cup. As I have said at least 100 times, I am in Chelsea and for the moment nobody has made me an offer'. "But the blue shirt suits me well, so everything's fine, and staying doesn't bother me" added the winger when asked about a potential move, suggesting he could be interested in a transfer whilst firmly adding that staying with Chelsea would not be a problem for the 27-year old.

According to Madrid-based paper Marca, the club have a superstar-filled list of alternatives to fill the Portuguese's sizable boots - chief among those being Tottenham's Harry Kane.

But ahead of last night's World Cup semi-final defeat by France, Hazard said: "Does Real make me dream less without Zidane?"

And it has been claimed Sarri has already told Roman Abramovich about the two players he does not want to see leave Chelsea this summer.
