Chelsea ace Eden Hazard has hailed the impact of Thierry Henry on Belgium's World Cup run.

Brazil haven't won the World Cup since 2002 which is their second longest run without winning it.

"It is weird to have Thierry against us in this match", Giroud said in a pre match press conference. But I'd be proud to show Titi that he chose the wrong side.

Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku has been described as Thierry Henry's "project" by Goal's Sam Lee. "Then he is a coach, his dedication, attention to detail and is trying to help any player in this squad, so he was the ideal missing piece in our technical staff".

Belgium turned around a 2-0 deficit to beat Japan 3-2 in the round of 16 and then followed that up with a 2-1 win over five-time World champions Brazil in the quarter-finals.

Roberto Martinez's men troubled the five time champions all through the first half to get more goals but their efforts weren't good enough to find the back of the net. Last time out, he moved into a wider right-sided role but was no less influential, powering forward to set up Kevin De Bruyne's magical strike against Brazil, that proved to be the eventual victor.

Vincent Kompany, Kevin De Bruyne, Fabian Delph, Kyle Walker, John Stones, Raheem Sterling and Benjamin Mendy will all keep the sly blue flag flying in the World Cup semi-finals.

"It's a unique opportunity for all the team, for all of Belgium, for all the hard work that has been done, not just in the past two years but the last 10 to 15 years developing these young players".
