Monster Hunter World PC Requirements Leaked Online

The highly anticipated release date for Monster Hunter World's PC port was officially announced by Capcom Monday morning, ending a 6-month wait since the game launched on consoles in January.

The game is expected to hit PC at some point this autumn. On consoles, Monster Hunter: World had no frame rate cap - a point of contention for those annoyed by highly variable levels of performance - though it struggled to reach 60fps even using performance modes on the enhanced Pro and X machines.

Monster Hunter: World is available to preorder on Steam right now for $60, and that comes with a preorder exclusive armor set. The game is now available on PS4 and Xbox One. The game will also follow a different Event Quest schedule than the console versions, so Capcom advises fans to regularly check the game's official Twitter account and website for the latest updates.

If you've never played a Monster Hunter game before, you won't need mods to get some serious mileage out of this game.

You can enjoy a trailer and the first screenshots below. If you're the type of person who loves the RPG loop of equipping for a fight, grinding, harvesting mats, and then getting better, cooler gear so that you can take on bigger, badder enemies, you're going to get totally addicted. Pre-orderers will receive two bonuses in the Origin Set, a useful leveling set of armor with a nostalgic style, and the Fair Wind Charm, another useful item for early leveling that features a unique left-arm glow. As part of the Guild's Research Commission, players must embark on a grand journey to this massive, mysterious land and uncover the secrets behind this phenomenon.

I have personally lost countless-dozens of hours to this game, and I don't regret it one bit. Dates will be provided at a later time.
