After scoring 23 points in his Summer League debut with the Los Angeles Lakers, Moe Wagner was once more efficient and a presence down low in LA's game against the Golden State Warriors. The Lakers hoped to improve upon a shaky outing against the Miami Heat earlier in the week but opened the game in a similar fashion.

Mykhailiuk struggled from behind the arc (2-for-8) in the Lakers' loss to the Heat but still managed to finish with 12 points, four rebounds and two assists. If there is enough support to make it part of the game, the challenge would need to clear a couple of hurdles before being adopted, a process that wouldn't play out until at least 2019.

Green added that Evans may be dealing with sore ribs after taking a shot in his debut on Tuesday and was unsure if he would play the remainder of the Warriors' summer schedule. The basketball at Summer League is pretty rough, but fans are willing to overlook the raw nature of the games for a glimpse at the league's future as the top stars from the draft descend on the desert. 11 players on Golden State's 17-man summer league roster are rookies and 10 are undrafted free agents from the 2017 and 2018 drafts. While most teams have only played two games so far, and the Las Vegas circuit has yet to even start, we have already seen some players who seem well on their way to a successful Summer League.

"We're getting close to getting those things done, but we're not there yet", Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said. On Tuesday, 2018 first round pick Jacob Evans and second year center Jordan Bell showed their off-season progress in a 71-54 win over the Kings.

The 21-year old rookie scored 13 points (5/10 FG) (2/4 3FG) and grabbed 13 rebounds in what was his first double-double for the purple and gold. Bagley (3-for-16) and Giles (2-for-9) combined to score 11 points on 20 percent shooting from the field.

Xavier Rathan-Mayes led the way for the Lakers with 14 points, a total he supplemented with eight assists, five rebounds, two steals and one block. Lonnie Walker IV added 14 for the Spurs, who led by as many as 18 in the second half. Against the Warriors on Thursday, Wagner posted 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Stanton Kidd, Georges Niang and Tony Bradley all finished with 15 points for Utah (2-1). Young had seven assists and Omari Spellman had 10 rebounds.
