Facebook in talks for Ronaldo reality show

Facebook Watch show "Tom vs Time". It was introduced past year to boosts Facebooks ad revenue and give people a reason to frequently return to the News Feed for content they can't get anywhere else.

Facebook is reportedly in discussions with Cristiano Ronaldo for what would be their biggest original series deal to date. It goes on to say that the documentary series will have 13 episodes, to begin with.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo is said to be closing in on a stunning £88m move to Juventus amid reports he is unhappy at Real Madrid.

"Time." The show, which follows 40-year-old New England Patriots NFL quarterback Tom Brady on and off the field, debuted on Facebook Watch in January and has been viewed almost 52 million times. "Time" as a model.

The Ronaldo show has been tipped to follow a similar pattern to the documentary, which followed the National Football League star on and off the field ahead of the Super Bowl. The production of the series would be handled by American investors, including a consortium of current and former pro athletes such as Tom Brady and Michael Strahan. "Time" was a hit, having garnered 52 million-plus views since its January 2018 debut.

Ronaldo, 33, could net up to $10 million for the series, according to Variety.
