Allen and Hawks rookie Trae Young clashed early in the second half while Allen was guarding Young at the top of the arc. Utah Jazz guard Grayson Allen, who was suspended during his junior season at Duke for repeatedly tripping opponents, got into his first National Basketball Association altercation during a game against the Atlanta Hawks at the Utah Jazz Summer League on Thursday.

With Allen on defense, the Hawks guard tried to take a long two-pointer, but got tied up with Allen in the process. Then Allen gave Young a little shoulder to the lower extremities. Both players were given technical fouls, while Allen also received a personal foul for the initial contact.

And if you're Grayson Allen and Trae Young, it's ideal for getting into a little dustup. It's going to happen. Grayson is a physical player. At one point in the fourth quarter, he forced three straight Atlanta turnovers, and he pulled down the final defensive rebound in the Jazz's 92-87 win.

Yeah, yeah - it's Summer League.
