11 members of family found hanging blindfolded in north Delhi home

A tragic incident has shocked Delhi again, where 11 members of same family were found dead under mysterious circumstances in Burari.

Quoting sources, news agency ANI reported that 10 bodies were found blindfolded and hanging from a railing in the house while one was found lying on the floor.

Seven of the victims are women, including a 75-year-old, while four are men. Two of them could be minors, an officer said.

Police suspect the family committed suicide after suffering financial losses in business. The family was taken to a hospital where they were declared brought dead.

He informed the police, who rushed to the spot and cordoned the area. They are now scanning the CCTV footage from the area.

More details are awaited. "We are trying to find out if it's a case of suicide pact or some foul play is involved behind the deaths", said the police officer.
