As CrimeOnline previously reported, surveillance video uploaded to social media appears to show a group of men drag the 15-year-old, later identified as Lesandro Guzman-Feliz, out of the store and slash him with a machete and another bladed weapon.

Lesandro Guzman-Feliz, 15, was stabbed in the neck with a machete after getting into a dispute with a group of young men in front of 526 East 183rd Street.

Funeral plans are underway for a 15-year-old boy dragged out of a Bronx bodega and stabbed to death last week.

According to published reports, members of the Trinitarios street gang apologized to Lesandro's family, saying the men attacked the teenager believing he was someone else.

After being stabbed the teen ran to nearby St. Barnabas Hospital but collapsed on the sidewalk.

"Since he was 5 years old, he told me, 'Mommy, I want to be a police, '" Feliz told the New York Post.

Others shared still frames from the video, including ones that showed the attackers faces more clearly.

The investigators trying to solve his murder represent the teen's professional aspirations, said his mother, Leandra Feliz. I know it doesn't mean a lot.

Police said he had run towards St Barnabus Hospial before succumbing to his injuries just feet away.

"They said, 'We had the wrong person, ' " Junior's brother-in-law Derek Grullon told the New York Daily News.

The hashtag #JusticeForJunior surfaced online following news of the incident and caught the attention of public figures like Cardi B and Kehlani.

Lesandro's family opened a GoFundMe account titled "Justice for Junior" which by late Saturday had raised almost $70,000.
