Experience Regina: Trip possible for Jimmy Fallon

Donald Trump and Jimmy Fallon are getting into it on Twitter, following revelations of the late night host's regret over a pre-election interview from 2016.

Trump took to Twitter on Sunday to say that Jimmy Fallon should be "be a man" and stop "whimpering".

The Prez claims Jimmy called him after the show to talk about the monster ratings the show got, but is now backtracking.

Fallon admitted he fell into a depression over backlash he received from the Trump interview. Fallon was instantly attacked over the move.

In the Tweet, Trump told Fallon to "be a man" after, somewhat incoherently, asserting that Fallon was "whimpering" about the "hair show" - referring to the September 2016 episode of "Late Night" on which Trump guested - while privately calling Trump and lauding the episode's "monster ratings".

However, Fallon didn't remain quiet as he responded on Sunday: "In honour of the President's tweet, I'll be making a donation to RAICES (the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services) in his name". You want me to kill myself?

Fallon even got a little choked up, continuing, "You go, 'Alright, we get it".

"Having been contacted by the mayor, (Fallon's) likely done some preliminary looking around so to speak, and so I think part of my reaching out is (asking him), 'what would you like to do?'" Fougere explained. So now what? Are you happy?

"But I want to be there".

Since then, Fougere said he's had his office reach out to Fallon's people to see if together they can set something up. What would make you happy? I'm sorry if I made anyone mad.

I'm sorry. I don't want to make anyone angry - I never do and I never will.
