As Dany is moving much closer to the Iron Throne, Clarke is hoping that she will be crowned queen of the Emmys.

In another post, she shares what appears to be an older photo with Liam Gallagher, John Bradley West, and showrunner Dan Weiss.

"Sat on a ferry to the island to say goodbye to the land that was my home away from home for nearly a decade".

Clarke's co-stars couldn't help but comment on the pic, with Lena Headey writing, "Sweet words. Ever. And you've been incredible". Emilia may have just completed filming the eighth and final season of the show and there's post-production work, including special effects, left before the new season airs in 2019. Clarke, who plays the fearless leader of her unsullied army, will most notably and fondly be remembered as Daenerys Targaryen, the Mother of Dragons.

Last month, in her cover story with Vanity Fair, the actress revealed she'd already shot Daenerys's final onscreen moments. It's going to be a odd year saying goodbye to everyone and having last scenes with this person and that person.

She added, "I'm doing all this weird shit".

Clarke didn't confirm whether or not she's done filming for good. "There's lots of different endings that could happen; I think we're doing all of them and we aren't being told which is actually what's going to happen".
