"Of course we want to win".

Switzerland will be full of confidence after holding World Cup heavyweight Brazil to a draw in Rostov-on-Don.

The Brazilians were frustrated by Switzerland's physical approach and also filed a complaint about Steven Zuber's equaliser after he appeared to push Miranda before nodding home.

And Serbia head coach Mladen Krstajic is braced for a hard encounter, telling Swiss newspaper Blick: "They are very strong!" Compact and with a lot of experience.

"It was very good teamwork on the right side".

The coach Krstajic is referring to is Vladimir Petkovic, who is hopeful star Valon Behrami is fit to play amid concerns over a thigh problem. "It's exhausting", said defender Fabian Schar. Serbia won their opening contest Costa Rica with skipper Aleksandar Kolarov scoring from a free kick.

Arsenal recruit Stephan Lichtsteiner is poised to make history.

Switzerland coach Vladimir Petkovic apparently does not want to discuss the issue of tensions linked to Swiss players with Kosovo Albanian heritage ahead of the World Cup match against Serbia.

Speaking through an interpreter, he says: "We will tell them we had a great match against Brazil".

Roma star Kolarov acknowledged that Serbia are in a strong position to qualify for the knockout rounds for the first time since 1998.

Perhaps, given that the match is being played in Kaliningrad, once Königsberg former capital of East Prussia, we should hope that some of the wisdom of the city's favourite son, Immanuel Kant, prevails: "For peace to reign on Earth, humans must evolve into new beings who have learned to see the whole first".

"It's very important that we have these three points in the bag, but it's not over".
