The measurement will appear at the center of the blue or orange bar and your screen.

You can pick from "Length" and "Height" tools, which are a bit clunky. The app is created to let users use augmented reality (AR) technology to measure objects in the real world.

Google Measure, the app that was initially a part of the devices supporting Project Tango, has now reached devices supporting ARCore.

Google Measure 2.0 is now live on the Play Store and is compatible with all ARCore-supported devices. The idea behind Measure is that you can use your phone instead: just open the app, move your phone around a little, then indicate which points you'd like to measure.

Sometimes you quickly want to measure something but you don't have a tapemeasure handy.

The Measure app, as its name suggests, lets you measure things. Do note that you first need to install ARCore to use the app.

If you're familiar with AR, the experience is pretty simple: place two markers in real-world locations and get the distance between the two.

According to some reviews, the app works better on some phones than others.

Measure now works on all phones supported by ARCore.
