Earlier this morning Amazon UK accidentally published a banner (via TechRadar) revealing Prime Day will kick off at noon on 16th July, pumping out deals for the next 36 hours.

Which will be July 16. Have you marked your calendar yet?

The company on Thursday posted a banner to its United Kingdom website indicating that July 16 would be the date of the event, TechRadar reports. There's no indication from the ad about what kind of deals to expect, but at least it lets us know how long we have to take advantage of the discounts.

Prime Day comes later than expected and TechRadar speculates the 2018 World Cup edition in Russian Federation might be to blame.

But what if you're not in the UK? So our prediction for Amazon Prime Day in the United States this year is a midday start on the 16th EST, running all the way through until midnight on the 17th PST - that would mean Prime Day 2018 running for 39 hours in the US. According to a new leak, Amazon Prime Day starts July 16.

Last year, Prime Day began at 9pm Eastern / 6pm Pacific, and ended at midnight Pacific.

Amazon's fourth yearly Prime Day monster sale will kick off in mid-July, Amazon mistakenly revealed, according to a posting of the dates from its United Kingdom website. You should also expect some tempting offers for some of Amazon's other services like Audible.

The very first Amazon Prime day was back in 2015 since then it has turned into a far bigger sale with better deals.
