Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, pose for photographers with their newborn baby boy Prince Louis of Cambridge outside the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital on April 23, 2018 in London, England.

Prince Louis will be three months old, which is how old Prince George was for his Christening, while Princess Charlotte was two months old at the time of hers at St. Mary Magdalene Church, Sandringham.

Who will christen Prince Louis?

Prince Louis, the third child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, is to be baptised on 9 July, Kensington Palace has announced.

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Rev. Justin Welby will perform the christening.

Just like his brother and sister, Prince Louis will be christened not long after being born.

Prince George was christened in the same location in 2013. James, Viscount Severn, was the first baby to wear the new outfit at his christening in 2008.

Newlyweds the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are likely to attend the family celebration.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes told the Express: 'As with George and Charlotte, the Duke and Duchess chose close and trusted friends and aides, rather than immediate family members, and the odds suggest that will be the same with little Prince Louis'. It is a replica of a christening gown made for Queen Victoria's eldest daughter in 1841 and used for generations of royal babies until it wore out.

In a sweet moment, Prince William talked about how his involvement in the organization earned him brownie points with his 4-year-old son, Prince George.
