More problems for Telstra network

According to Telstra's website, outages caused intermittent mobile service in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Hobart.

It is understood that the issue impacted a small number of people on smaller operators that tap into the Telstra network to resell services, such as Aldi Mobile and Woolworths Mobile, and that the issue has since been fixed.

Australian mobile customers have been dealt another blow with reports the company is facing another wide-sweeping outage.

Telstra says some of its resellers have been affected by mobile outages, but there is no issue with its 3G or 4G network.

However, the outage follows a string of Telstra outages in recent months, including a five hour loss of 3 and 4G on May 21. "We apologise to these wholesale customers for any inconvenience", the spokesperson added.

Telstra users took to social media to express their concern after being unable to use their phones.

Millions of Australians were left without access to voice and internet services on their mobile phones during the outage.

"During this time some Telstra Wholesale end users may not have been able to connect their services".

Another Telstra mobile network outage on May 1 also disconnected mobile phones from the 4G network nationwide for two hours.

Some customers had issues making phone calls and using their mobile data.
