Love Island star Sophie Gradon dead at 32

After the announcement of Sophie's death, social media has been swarmed with messages raising awareness for mental health issues.

Sophie Gradon, a former contestant on "Love Island" and former Miss Great Britain has died at the age of 32, her boyfriend confirmed.

The star's boyfriend, Aaron Armstrong revealed the devastating news on his Facebook on Thursday morning, writing: "I will never forget that smile".

The statement continued, "There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death".

Following the news, a spokesman for ITV said today: 'The whole ITV2 and Love Island team are profoundly saddened to hear the news about Sophie, and our deepest sympathies and thoughts go to her family and friends'.

Olivia, who was good friends with Sophie during their time in the villa, said she was devastated about the sad news.

The reality star, who appeared in the 2016 series of the ITV2 dating show, was found dead at an address in Ponteland, Northumberland on Wednesday. "Such a attractive soul. such a attractive smile.thoughts and love with friends and family".

Olivia Buckland, who also appeared, wrote: "Awful bad news this morning". You were such an intricate, creative, intelligent soul.

Speaking to the Love Island boys, she said: "Life shouldn't be about judging one another".

"You helped us through so much".

'I didn't actually say that Danny was boring but I knew, I'm not stupid, I knew they'd twist it and I kind of wanted to get back at him and humiliate him because I felt like a bit of a mug'. Too young, too sweet. "Rest in peace attractive".

Meanwhile, Love Island stars from other series of the show have paid tribute to Sophie.

Nathan Henry tweeted: "Rest in peace you attractive little angel, the heavens are blessed with a lovely smile".

While another added: "Tonight's episode should be cancelled in memory of Sophie Gradon".
