He's also said some nasty things about White House press secretary Sarah Sanders.

Actor Peter Fonda is facing backlash after he suggested Barron Trump be put "in a cage with pedophiles" during a Twitter rant over Donald Trump's highly controversial family separation immigration policy.

The tweet has since been deleted.

He also called for 90 million people to take to the streets in protest at the government's decision to criminally prosecute migrants who cross the U.S. border illegally and separate them from their children.

Donald Trump Jr. responded to Fonda, calling him a coward who should stop bullying 12-year-old Barron and "pick on someone a bit bigger".

Fonda, a two-time Oscar nominee and son of Hollywood legend Henry Fonda, took to Twitter to voice his opinion about the Trump administration's new zero-tolerance policy for immigrants arriving at the USA border which has led to the separation of parents from young children in detention camps.

Fonda, the "Easy Rider" star and younger brother of actress Jane Fonda, also called for protesters to surround Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents while they're picking up their children from school.

Actor and filmmaker Peter Fonda went on an unhinged Twitter tirade against the Trump administration last night over their policy of separating migrant children from their parents at the border.

Trump's office did not explain why the Secret Service was notified about the offensive tweets, as they do not appear to represent credible threats and should be covered under the First Amendment.

"We should hack the system, get the addresses of the ICE agents [Customs and Border Protection] agents and surround their homes in protest".

"The U.S. Secret Service is aware of the tweet made by Mr. Fonda".

"We need to scare the f*** out of them! We should find out what schools their children go to and surround the schools in protest".

After Don Jr. fired back, another off-the-rails leftist, undoubtedly fueled by the media's ongoing misinformation campaign regarding children being separated from adults at the border, threatened the president's son with, "Don't worry we're coming for Chloe, too". "They like doing this. F-".
