His next big role is in the upcoming Creed II movie with its long-awaited debut poster finally here. Steven Caple Jr. takes over directing chores from Ryan Coogler, who is an executive producer on the movie.

We'll have our thoughts on the trailer for you soon, but we wanted to bring this to you as quickly as possible. If you ask the Creed II trailer, the answer is no and that's frankly fantastic. Wood Harris and Phylicia Rashad also star. The new cast is rounded out with Russell Hornsby as Buddy Marcelle.

The official synopsis for the film reads, "Life has become a balancing act for Adonis Creed". With Rocky Balboa (Stallone) by his side as his trainer, Adonis must balance personal obligations (especially to Tessa Thompson's Bianca) and training, and this time finds himself plunged into a clash that has major resonance for his family.

No, seriously - in the first few seconds of the trailer, Michael B. Jordan's Adonis Creed falls to the mat of a boxing ring after taking a swing from his off-screen opponent.

The sequel to the 2015 film and the eighth installment in the Rocky film franchise sees Jordan back as Adonis Creed, the son of original Rocky antagonist Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers).

On May 10, Rocky IV baddie Dolph Lundgren shared a snap from the Philadelphia set of himself in costume as Russia's steroid-abusing, former prize champion boxer, Ivan Drago. Pictures will distribute the film internationally.

Creed, directed by Coogler, was released by Metro Goldwyn Mayer Pictures, Warner Bros.
