The two discounts knock the Pixel 2 XL down to nearly $450 by the time the 24 months are up. A year ago despite packing in a single-sensor camera, the Pixel 2 offered portrait mode with both the rear and front cameras using AI and machine learning technologies.

However, the current-generation Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL have revealed that the single rear camera is more than capable to shooter near-color-accurate and detailed images, so the upcoming handset should be an even more capable computing device in the camera department.

Google revealed during the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL announcement that these devices are still able to shoot pictures with bokeh effects while relying on just a single camera lens. The image shows a render of the Pixel 3 XL wrapped in a protective case whose rear cutouts would only fit a single-lens camera. Google Lens has also been added to the camera app. By including the buyback value, the Google Pixel 2 is effectively being sold for a price as low as Rs 10,999 after discount and the Moto X4 at Rs 6,999.

To get the Google Pixel 2 for Rs 10,999 there are a couple of steps you should follow. The fingerprint sensor will also be located on the back just like the Pixel 2.

That side lines up with rumors that the Pixel 3 XL will have a notch at the top and dual front-facing cameras.

It had been widely assumed that the search giant would ultimately get rid of the feature but it appears like it will be sticking around on the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. Usually Google announces Pixel phones in October and this year too the company will likely stick to the same timeline.

- Both phones will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, at least 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

- Both the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL will run on Android P.

- Neither the Pixel 3 nor the Pixel 3 XL will come with a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Pixel 2 sports a 5-inch OLED display whereas the Pixel 2 XL sports a 6-inch POLED display.

Following this step, an assured exchange value of Rs 42,000 within 6-8 months will be given by Flipkart which would ultimately bring the price of the Pixel 2 to Rs 10,999.
