The game will be called Kill la Kill -if- and is slated to release at some point in 2019.

Publishing Kill la Kill The Game will fall to Arc System Works, established industry players that have previously published games such as Castle Shikagami III and Arcana Heart 3 but are much better known in their role as primary developers. While the game has no release date beyond 2019 or any systems announced, there will be more details on the project during Anime Expo 2018, July 5-8.

Referred to rather simply as Kill La Kill The Game at present, the trailer lays out familiar fare for fighting game fans and anime buffs alike. Not surprising seeing as Studio Trigger, the anime's developer and producers of the attractive Little Witch Academia anime, are partnering with the producers of massively popular and polished fighting games BlazBlue and Guilty Gear, Arc System Works. With Arc Sys' recent track record (coming strong off of Dragon Ball FighterZ and BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle), there's a lot of potential worth getting excited over for this one.

A popular anime built around epic battles, Kill La Kill has earned a positive reputation among fans of the genre.

Kill la Kill aired during the Autumn 2013 season and became one of the biggest anime titles of that year.
