When quizzed on possible interest from Real Madrid, the Liverpool replied that he has no thoughts of moving away from Merseyside: "I'm very happy in Liverpool and I have another three years left on my contract".

The Senegal worldwide scored in last month's Champions League defeat to the Spanish club and speculation nearly immediately suggested he was a target for them - before Zinedine Zidane's shock resignation.

Sadio Mané answered questions concerning his future in an interview with Austrian daily Salzburger Nachrichten.

Mane is now in Russian Federation with the Senegal squad, as they bid for progress from Group H, taking on Poland (June 19), Japan (June 24) and Colombia (June 28).

Having scored in last month's final defeat to Real, Mane has clearly developed a taste for Europe's top-tier tournament, saying "I want to win trophies, especially the Champions League".

France Football claimed Zidane had a key role to play in Real placing Mane atop their list of summer transfer targets but added the move could still happen once the club named a new manager.

However, the tricky winger insists he is happy to remain on Merseyside ahead of the FIFA World Cup in Russian Federation. Now it is time to play with Senegal (and have) a good and successful World Cup. While much is expected of him, the Liverpool forward says he is not feeling the pressure.
