Director Patty Jenkins also shared an image of Chris Pine on the set of the sequel this morning, showing Steve Trevor walking through a crowded mall.

The first stills from Warner Bros.'s Wonder Woman 1984 - the sequel to 2017's hit Wonder Woman film - have been released, along with new information and confirmation of previously-reported items. You can have a look at Chris Pine as Steve Trevor below.

Judging by the people's clothes, Trevor is definitely in the 1980s... so this isn't a flashback.

The "Wonder Woman" sequel is officially titled "Wonder Woman 1984", a nod to the film's new period setting. Trevor was Wonder Woman's love interest and a military spy during World War I in the first movie. We knew that joining Gal Gadot's Diana Prince would be Pedro Pascal (as somebody we don't know yet), Kristen Wiig's Cheetah, and some sort of cameo for original Wonder Woman Lynda Carter. Rebecca Roven Oakley, Richard Suckle, Wesley Coller, Geoff Johns and Walter Hamada are the executive producers.

Jenkins has pretty much reunited most of her behind-the-scenes team from Wonder Woman, including director of photography Matthew Jensen, production designer Aline Bonetto, and costume designer Lindy Hemming.

Check out the exciting first Wonder Woman 2 images below.

"Wonder Woman 1984" opens in theaters November 1, 2019.
