Kumaraswamy responds to PMs fitness challenge, says more concerned about Karnataka development

HD Kumaraswamy on Wednesday responded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's fitness challenge by saying that he was more concerned about the fitness of Karnataka than of his own.

Responding to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's #FitnessChallenge, Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy said yoga and treadmill are a part of his daily workout routine.

In a separate message, he nominated Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy, table tennis player and 2018 Commonwealth Games gold medallist Manika Batra and the "entire fraternity of courageous IPS officers, especially those above 40" for the #fitnesschallenge, which has become a talking point on Twitter. "The entire fraternity of fearless IPS officers, especially those above 40", Modi added.

Meanwhile, as a response to PM Modi accepting Virat Kohli's fitness challenge, Rahul Gandhi had earlier taken to Twitter and challenged him to reduce soaring fuel prices in the country. Mr Modi also nominated Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy among others for the "Fitness Challenge".
