According to Deadline, Wood's genre label Spectrevision has been in production over the last few years on a new VR game titled Transference. It's set to released this autumn both in VR and on non-VR platforms. Will the gap between movies and VR games be thoroughly obliterated, or will your sanity be the first to go inside this horror exploration experience?

Are you ready to be "plunged into the experiment of a troubled scientist", as the official description has it? In Transference, you will be immersed in an unsettling psychological thriller with all of the tension of a suspense film, combining live-action footage with environmental storytelling to unlock haunting emotions that lingers long after you put the controller down.

The atmosphere of the trailer presents a unusual, nearly dreamlike quality, with odd voices whispering as Raymond speaks to his son, the whispers warning of betrayal and lies as the corrupted simulation begins to take hold and the extent of the danger presented by Raymond's experiments becomes clear. Gamers entering this world will shift from the point of view of Raymond, his wife, and their son.

Transference is said to feature a branching narrative, with the ability to affect the lives of the family by slowly piecing together a mystery. The object will be to recover and restore family memories and solve the family puzzle. Those that want a more immersive experience will be happy to know that the game will also be available to play in virtual reality on PSVR, Oculus Rift, and HTC Vive.
