Resident Evil 2 Remake has finally been shown with a brand new trailer. However, the game being shown at Sony's press conference and the accompanying trailer only having PlayStation logos led some fans to believe that itd would be a PlayStation 4 exclusive. The PC and Xbox One versions of the Resident Evil 2 remake will be available on the same date as the PS4 version, January 25, 2019, and it will even feature some enhancements for those who play it on an Xbox One X console. It's good to see CAPCOM trying to make a game where buildings are up to code. Both Leon and Claire have their own separately playable campaigns, allowing players to see the story from both characters' perspective. Leon and Claire must work together to survive and uncover the cause of the outbreak.

A spine-chilling reimagining of a horror classic - Based on the original PlayStation console release in 1998, the new game has been completely rebuilt from the ground up for a deeper narrative experience. This is a full remake, with new, modern graphics. With Capcom's proprietary RE Engine powering a new photorealistic style, the characters themselves appear sharper than ever and the grotesque hordes of zombies are brought to life with a horrifyingly realistic wet gore effect.

As you might have noticed from the reveal trailer, Resident Evil 2 is made in the same engine as the 2017 release of Resident Evil VII.

Like the original found on the first iteration of the PlayStation, players will have the option of choosing to play between Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield.
