Speaking after Brazil 3-0 victory over Austria on Sunday evening, Alisson wants to make a decision before the weekend otherwise it will have to wait until after the World Cup.

Alisson wants any deal to be wrapped up before the World Cup, so he can remain as focussed as possible during the tournament.

Liverpool are ready to end their interest in Alisson, giving Real Madrid a clear run at signing the Roma goalkeeper.

But Sky Sports claim Liverpool believe he is overpriced at £80m and have backed away from any deal.

This news comes just days after a big transfer blow for Jurgen Klopp's men, as Lyon announced Nabil Fekir will not be moving to Liverpool despite lengthy negotiations.

"Alisson can be amongst the best in the world, alongside Courtois, De Gea and [Manuel] Neuer".

"To be honest, I left everything in the hands of my agents".

Alisson's performances this season have made him one of the most in-demand goalkeepers in Europe, something which will only increase further following the World Cup where he is expected to start for Brazil ahead of Manchester City's Ederson. We will see what will happen this week'.

'There are some possibilities and we are working on all of them, together with Roma, always respecting the club.

Alisson kept 22 clean sheets in his 47 appearances for Roma last season, with the Giallorossi reaching the Champions League semi-final stage.

The Giallorosso are reluctant to do business, though Alisson stated yesterday he was eager to get his situation settled before the World Cup kicks off.
