Ivanka Trump made $US3.9 million from father's hotel in 2017

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner raked in at least $82 million in outside income while working in the White House a year ago, according to reports.

As for her husband, Kushner has earned over $5 million in income from an apartment complex he acquired past year.

She was also paid $2 million in severance by her family's real estate company, the Trump Organization. In all, he took in at least $70 million, the Post said.

Mr. Kushner held between $174 million and $710 million in assets at the end of 2017, up from the minimum of between $137 million and $609 million he reported on his financial disclosure in March 2017.

The Post estimated Kushner's assets at $179 million to $735 million previous year, compared to between $55.3 million and $75.6 million for Trump, noting that the Office of Government Ethics uses broad ranges for assets and liabilities.

Kushner and his wife took at least $83 million in income and capital gains previous year, according to the disclosures.

Kushner brought in at least $5 million from Quail Ridge, a Kushner Cos. apartment complex in Plainsboro, N.J. "As to the current filing which OGE also reviews, their net worth remains largely the same, with changes reflecting more the way the form requires disclosure than any substantial difference in assets or liabilities". His line credit at IDB Bank increased from a max of $5 million to $25 million. But even as a passive investor, he retains many lucrative investments - which ethics critics have warned could raise conflicts of interest.
