Since Amazon announced the acquisition of Whole Foods Market, the grocery store has been getting more deeply entangled in the Amazon ecosystem.

Starting Wednesday, Prime members will be able to receive a 10% discount on sales items at Whole Foods stores in Arizona, Alabama, Georgia, Hawaii, Oregon, North Carolina, South Carolina, Washington, Louisiana and Mississippi.

Amazon first announced the deal earlier this month at stores in Florida, and expanded it to 12 more states in late May. In the time-honored retail fashion, that really just means extra discounts and savings for Prime members. Prime members will sign into the app using their Amazon accounts, and then scan the "Prime Code" inside the app when they check out at Whole Foods.

There are now four Whole Foods stores in the state, including one on Maui and three on Oahu.

Wild sustainably caught yellowfin tuna steaks, $15.99/lb., save $9/lb.

Whole Foods shoppers with memberships can also get free shipping on their organic cornflakes and other goods for orders over $35 (in Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego and San Francisco).

"We're excited that Prime savings will be available at almost half of our Whole Foods Market stores this week, giving more Prime members access to great deals just in time for summer", A.C. Gallo, president and chief operating officer at Whole Foods Market, said in a statement.
