The quality of Sony's own first party PlayStation 4 exclusives has been remarkably high for the a year ago or so, but if there seemed to be one weak link it was Days Gone. The open-world zombie biker game "Days Gone" will be available on PS4 and PS4 on February 22, 2019. Sony is in the midst of a five-day series of reveals ahead of the company's press conference at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles on Monday.

Days Gone is looking more and more like fuel for your post-apocalyptic nightmares, and now we know when players will be able to get their hands on this PS4 exclusive.

"Days Gone", the next game from Sony's Oregon-based Bend Studio, finally has a release date.

In addition to these new enemies are three friendlies William "Boozer" Gray (Jim Pirri) who was in the original 2016 trailer and a brotherly character to Deacon.

The release date was accompanied by a brand new trailer which showcases the dark, gritty, wild animal and zombie-infested game world players will be facing. The Rippers are a cult who worship the undead Freakers, and kill anyone who's not a member.

This comes after another announcement from Sony, which stated the PlayStation 4 was entering the end of its cycle.
