There's even a couple of places showing odds for Wednesday's Game 3 in Cleveland already. But in the final period, with the Cavaliers still hanging around, Curry displayed his shooting genius, making all five of his three-point attempts and dazzling the crowd with his knack for making contested shots and swishing missiles that others would consider desperation heaves. VIDEO: Steph and Riley Curry share secret handshake in celebration of Warriors win James was his typical brilliant self but was unable to match the 51-point scoring he had in the opener as the Warriors made a stronger effort to pick him up quicker to make him work for everything.

Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue stressed the need for a body-banging style from his squad. "This is a team you don't want to be down 0-3 against". Some of the shots he missed, he's going to make those at home.

They had a tense moment in the third, too. James was photographed yelling at Smith, frantically motioning him to move towards the basket.

After Sunday's loss, LeBron James talked about "being uncomfortable", this next week, that the Cavs can't simply expect to win just because they are playing at home. "They've got a Finals MVP that comes off their bench", James said in reference to Iguodala. LeBron James caught a long outlet pass as Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry defended. But they couldn't contain Curry and the rest of the Warriors for extended stretches.

"I've loved Kyle ever since we made the trade to get him here" James said. The Warriors, who've struggled at times with focus, jumped out to a 15-6 run to start the game and appeared locked in from the outset in the wire-to-wire victory.

Golden State has won on Cleveland's court, including Game 3 previous year, or closing them out to win a title in 2015's Game 6. Ray Allen had the single-game record (8, 2010), and LeBron James had the highest career total (85 Sunday night's game). His first points - the first for Cleveland - came on a goaltend by McGee. Smith has been one of the Cavs best options from 3-point range, but he was just 1 for 4 in this game.

While Curry may be one of the most popular players in the National Basketball Association, his quick rise in the league has reportedly rubbed some of his peers the wrong way, most notably LeBron James. They shot 59.5 percent in the first half despite going 6 of 19 on 3s.

Game 3 is everything for the Cavs.

According to ESPN's Chris Haynes, Andre Iguodala could be nearing a return to the Finals after not experiencing any pain in his left knee over the past few days.

"It's tough - really tough - to guard Steph anywhere out there on the floor because he's just so good at finding himself open", Love said after the game, in which Curry shot a ideal 5-of-5 from 3-point range in the final period.
