"Rai (Prakash Raj) is not mentally stable". Prakash Raj raised his voice against activists group banning Kaala in Karnataka.

Kaala casts Rajinikanth as a gangster from Mumbai.

Kaala is scheduled for a worldwide release on June 7.

"Karnataka Film Chamber has said that they have not asked for a ban but the distributors and exhibitors seeing the pressure have voluntarily chose to not create tension by not releasing "Kaala".The onus is now on the state and central government", he added. As per a PTI report, Sakshi Mehra, president of the Film Federation of India, requested the SIFCC to talk with KFCC to lift the ban on Kaala. They said that Rajinikanth's comments on the Cauvery issue has hurted the sentiments of Kannadigas.

Prakash Raj wrote on the wall of Twitter, "What's film #kaala got to do with Kaveri issue.? why is film fraternity targeted always.? When you keep a problem alive, naturally fringe elements will try to take law into their hands, govt needs tell them that law and order is our responsibility, you can protest but can't stop a film from releasing", Raj told news agency ANI.

Well, then came the Kaala's turn to speak on stage and after speaking of the bondage that he has with Telugu audience, the hero said: "Dhanush said only one Rajinikanth, there is only one Chiranjeevi, one Nagarjuna, one Venkatesh, one Balakrishna, everybody has their own individuality, no one is bigger than none, only opportunity makes them bigger". Yes. we need to express it.BUT HOW??

Actor Prakash Raj has objected to the Kannada film industry's decision of not screening Rajinikanth's Kaala in Karnataka because of the Tamil superstar's comment on the Cauvery river water row with Tamil Nadu.

"Let's for a moment ponder what we could achieve by stopping the release of the movie Kaala".
