Deadpool Creators Deletes a Scene From Deadpool 2

The sequel, which has received rave reviews, is more violent and has more X-rated jokes than the first. That film will be based on the team assembled in Deadpool 2.

"Don't be surprised if Clue is an R-rated".

It also redeemed Ryan Reynolds, an actor who had made several attempts at movie stardom, but had never quite managed to attain the level of popularity many in the Hollywood studio system had expected from him.

"Deadpool 2" writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick talked to Uproxx about the gags that didn't make the cut, including a planned nod to Chris Evans' previous Marvel superhero role as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch in Fox's 2005 movie "Fantastic Four".

Do you want to see this new Clue film? I don't think that you can keep doing that.

For the unversed, Disney is now in the middle of a $50 billion takeover of Fox and its assets, which would mean that the Marvel Cinematic Universe could theoretically be merged with the X-Men universe one day, and Marvel boss Kevin Feige has certainly hinted at this.

Though director David Leitch's Deadpool 2 doesn't officially open in theaters until May 18, the lucky movie lovers who got to catch the flick early are already raving about the film's post-credits scenes - with one even stamping the second of the two as "an awesome series of jokes and set pieces" and "the best post-credits scene ever". "We shot it and we put it in front of an audience".

"He's got the crib and he's standing in the German nursery and he's leaning over the crib".

I think [Ryan Reynolds] makes a really good point, and yet I think the challenge will be maybe to do a Deadpool movie where we don't strip away everything from the character. So it ended up coming out ...

One that was filmed, though, involved Deadpool killing Baby Hitler. Rhett remarked that it is a squeamish scene.

He said: "Our last moment was Deadpool saying 'Maximum effort!' as he goes in to throttle the baby".

The removal of these scenes isn't out of the ordinary.

Ryan Reynolds is back as the Merc with the Mouth with both characters from the original as well as new ones, like Domino played by Zazie Beetz and Cable played by Josh Brolin, joining the cast. Regardless of what film he's starring in, you can rest assured that you'll be seeing plenty of the character for the foreseeable future.
