In 2017, her two dogs broke into a neighbor's yard and attacked a golden retriever.

The 75-year-old woman killed Wednesday was known in the Orange Grove neighborhood as "the can lady".

Last December, a Virginia woman who posted numerous photos of her two pit bulls online was found dead by police while her dogs chewed on her rib cage. "She was a very sweet lady". She walked daily, collecting cans. And in the same way she was well-known on that street, so were the pit bulls. She was later arrested on charges unrelated to the deadly dog attack. Those charges are Dog at Large, and Vicious Animal. Teenage boy says pit bull attacked him in San Francisco " It's a great place to take our dogs.

That dog, was Jones', the same next door neighbor who saw the aftermath of Wednesday's attack, quoted above.

Jones also says this isn't the first time there have been issues with these dogs. She was able to shut the door before they got into her trailer, which is next door to Crafts'.

"When she gets in a park like this she just takes off and runs like a gazelle", said Mundy. "It's awful, I mean she was such a sweet lady...she loved the Lord, and her family", the victim's niece, Laquita Maxwell told FOX10 News. No charges have yet been filed in the fatal mauling and both pit bulls have been surrendered to animal control.
