Triple Crown hopeful Justify will start from Post 7 as a prohibitive favorite in the 143 Preakness Stakes on Saturday.

Justify will enter the race as the betting favorite, looking to remain undefeated and win the second leg of the Triple Crown after his dominant performance at the Kentucky Derby. Bravazo finished 8 lengths behind, with Lone Sailor 9 1/4 lengths out.

Justify will face three other challengers he beat two weeks ago at Churchill Downs - Good Magic, Lone Sailor and Bravazo - and four horses who skipped the Derby - Quip, Tenfold, Sporting Chance and Diamond King.

Kentucky Derby victor Justify will run from the seventh post at the Preakness Stakes on Saturday.

A almost 136-year-old streak of odd luck, set on May 16, 1882, was broken May 5 of this year, with the victory of 3-year-old Justify in the Kentucky Derby.

Good Magic was second in the morning line at 3-1, and Quip got the shortest odds of the new shooters at 12-1.

After a crowded field of 20 talented horses raced in the Kentucky Derby, just eight will take to the starting gate at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland.

Following the PREAKNESS STAKES, TSN heads to Belmont Park in NY, to deliver the final stop in the American Triple Crown, the 150th running of the one and a half mile BELMONT STAKES on June 9.
