Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists - Spinoff trailer released

"The Perfectionists" has been ordered to series at Freeform, Variety has confirmed. The pilot episode of "Perfectionists" was penned by "Liars" showrunner, I. Marlene King, who will also serve as executive producer on the series alongside Charlie Craig, Lisa Cochran-Neilan, Leslie Morgenstein, and Gina Girolamo.

The spinoff present introduces a brand new forged together with Disney Channel star Sofia Carson as Ava, a trendsetting blogger; Sydney Park as Caitlin, a studious lady who aspires to comply with in her mom's political footsteps; Eli Brown as Dylan, a gifted cellist; and Chris Mason as Nolan, the golden boy who's inheritor to his household's empire.

The Perfectionist is set Beacon Heights - a seemingly flawless suburban town where a group of college students struggle with their "overachiever" status.

Freeform handed out a pilot order for Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists - based on the Sara Shepard book of the same name - late previous year. Alloy Entertainment and Long Lake Media produce in association with Warner Horizon Scripted Television.

When news of the town's first ever murder comes to the forefront, viewers discover that each Perfectionist hides "a secret, a lie, and an alibi". Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum directed the pilot. The prediction from Sofia's character looks to be true, as the trailer closes with images of police tape, and Alison seemingly exploring a crime scene. Others are happy to have something PLL related back on the air, tweeting: "MY LIFE WILL MAKE SENSE AGAIN, I REPEAT, MY LIFE WILL MAKE SENSE AGAIN" and "I'm crying, im so happy they are back". The first, Ravenswood, was canceled after one season.
