LG may have delayed the release of this year's G flagship phone but we think it's worth the wait if you're to look at the fact that it is a ThinQ offering. It is not immediately clear how LG will differentiate the V35 ThinQ from the G7 ThinQ since they share the branding and hardware features. The company has now announced the launch of the G7 ThinQ in its home market of South Korea. The company has confirmed that key markets in Asia, Europe, the Americas will follow shortly thereafter.

Available in three colors, blue, black and red, the 64GB LG G7 ThinQ comes with a price tag of 898,700 won (US$830), with that of the 128-GB LG G7 ThinQ Plus version reaching 976,800 won. Sprint will start pre-orders from May 25.

Most of the internals of the LG V35 is expected to be the same as the LG G7 ThinQ.

The LG G7 ThinQ boasts a 6.1-inch QHD display, screen notch, Snapdragon 845 chipset, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and Android 8.0 Oreo. The secondary 16-megapixel camera is a wide-angle lens with f/1.9 aperture, phase detection autofocus but it lacks optical image stabilization. Both the devices are powered by a 3,000 mAh battery that can easily last through the day. Sensors onboard include face recognition sensor and a fingerprint scanner.
